Associate Civil / Structural Design Engineer
We are recruiting for an Associate Civil / Structural Design Engineer to lead an experienced and dynamic team. The role will be based in our Newark office in the East Midlands with flexible and hybrid working options. About The Design Business: RPS Design Division handles projects in sectors like residential, logistics, retail, aviation, healthcare, education, manufacturing, data centres, and energy. We focus on balancing form and function, sustainability, materiality, cost, and constructability, leveraging digital tools to enhance client experience from concept to completion.
Responsibilities:
- Manage project teams, ensuring quality and timely delivery
- Design and deliver civil engineering solutions for commercial and logistics projects
- Provide technical expertise and support to the team
- Develop client relationships to grow business in Newark
- Visit sites and attend meetings with clients and design teams
- Collaborate with internal support functions like HR, Finance, and Marketing
- Perform additional duties as required
Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate will be a chartered engineer with strong leadership skills and extensive civil engineering experience, particularly in commercial, logistics, and residential sectors. Proficiency in Civils 3D and AutoCAD is preferred.
