As Associate Clinical Development Director, you'll be at the forefront of global clinical trials, driving innovation and scientific excellence across complex neurological conditions.Your insights will directly influence trial strategy, regulatory documentation, and patient safety, making a meaningful impact on lives worldwide.Join a team that values curiosity, collaboration, and bold thinking where your contributions truly matter.This is your opportunity to help reimagine medicine and make a lasting difference.Key ResponsibilitiesContribute to clinical development strategy and author trial-related documents aligned with the Clinical Development PlanProvide scientific input into regulatory documents including Investigator's Brochures and submission dossiersOversee clinical trial execution, ensuring scientific integrity and patient safety in collaboration with cross-functional teamsConduct ongoing review and interpretation of trial data with internal experts and safety boardsSupport final analyses, reporting, and publication of clinical trial resultsLead clinical trials as Clinical Scientific Lead, guiding all clinical aspects in partnership with medical monitorsParticipate in global initiatives to enhance clinical development processes and standardsEssential RequirementsAdvanced degree in life sciences or healthcare; PharmD or PhD strongly preferredMinimum 3 years of clinical research or drug development experience across Phases I-IVAt least 2 years of hands-on experience conducting global clinical trials in a matrixed environmentProven knowledge in neuroscience or related areas such as neurodegenerative or rare neurological diseasesStrong understanding of clinical trial design, methodology, statistics, and regulatory processesFluent in written and spoken English with excellent communication skillsDemonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholdersSkilled in negotiation, conflict resolution, and building strong interpersonal relationshipsDesirable RequirementsExperience in neuroscience-related therapeutic areas such as neuroinflammation, neuromuscular, or rare neurological diseasesFamiliarity with Cell & Gene therapies or advanced clinical trial methodologiesWhy Novartis?We believe new insights, perspectives, and ground-breaking solutions can be found at the intersection of medical science and digital innovation.
