Bring your skills to the mix as an Associate Director in Coastal Engineering, playing a vital role in coastal engineering on Transformational Programmes for UK infrastructure, with opportunities to work on iconic projects at home and abroad.
We specialise in all aspects of coastal engineering across sectors like Water, Aviation, Defence, Energy, and Cities & Development. We provide industry-leading coastal modelling and engineering solutions throughout the project lifecycle, supporting clients from design to construction. Your Purpose:
- Lead and direct teams undertaking technical design following standards and high-quality levels.
- Define project briefs, scopes, and contribute to bid proposals.
- Manage time and budgets to meet project milestones.
- Collaborate with UK and overseas teams to deliver integrated design solutions.
- Establish quality assurance standards in design.
- Develop and manage coastal engineering capabilities within the practice.
What you can bring:
- Chartered Civil Engineer.
- Experience in design delivery, including multidisciplinary projects.
- Deep knowledge of coastal engineering analysis and design in the UK and internationally.
- Ability to work with global clients to develop tailored solutions.
- Promotion of technical excellence, sustainability, net zero, and digital innovation.
- Mentoring and developing junior staff.
