Associate Director - Deal Execution - Joint Ventures (Consulting) — London based. Our global consulting client\'s Deal Execution practice is looking for an exceptional candidate for the Joint Ventures and Alliances team.
The JV and Alliances team is part of the broader Deal Execution team within the Strategy Group, delivering client value by challenging conventional thinking, bringing deep industry and functional insights, and executing with investor-grade rigour. The team comprises specialists from multiple disciplines to set up, operate or exit partnerships, supporting clients from ideation to execution of significant partnerships. You will be part of the core JV team that typically leads JV engagements from start to finish.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex JV engagements and manage multidisciplinary teams comprising Legal, Tax, Valuation, Deal Execution, and other experts.
- Design, negotiate and build partnerships, typically across industry or consultancy settings.
- Scope and budget engagements; support development of JV-related thought leadership.
- Advise clients on feasibility and strategic options, including valuation and business planning; manage project delivery and timelines.
- Drive business development for key accounts and ensure adherence to the firm\'s risk management frameworks.
- Mentor, coach, and develop project team members; provide constructive 360-degree feedback.
Qualifications
- Experience designing, negotiating and building partnerships deals, ideally in an industry or another consultancy firm.
- Experience across JV-related issues including strategic options assessments, valuation, business planning, legal agreement negotiation, and project management of JV deals.
