About your role

The Sales Associate Director is responsible for generating new business from clients in the Netherlands through high-quality relationships and a client-centric solutions approach. They will also secure retention of clients and assets through ongoing relationship management.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Develop and execute a robust business strategy for the Dutch market, focusing on tactical execution
  2. Manage client relationships: build on existing relationships with banks, asset managers, pension funds, insurance companies, and corporates, and develop new opportunities in the broader market
  3. Initiate contact and build relationships with institutions unfamiliar with Fidelity
  4. Generate a pipeline of opportunities across Fidelity’s investment solutions (segregated and pooled), including equity, fixed income, and alternatives
  5. Convert opportunities into funded business by aligning client needs with Fidelity’s investment capabilities and priorities
  6. Maintain ownership of client relationships after initial investment
  7. Conduct regular investment and market reviews with support from investment management
  8. Collaborate with the Head of Sales Benelux and colleagues to develop opportunities within their client base
