What You Will Enjoy Doing

  • In this role you will shape the strategic vision for supply chain, logistics, transport, and planning across UK & Ireland, ensuring seamless governance, alignment, and forward-thinking strategy
  • You will lead a central team of experienced subject matter experts to drive performance, embed best practices, and oversee regional supply chain operations
  • Act as the authority ensuring all business units operate cohesively and collaboratively within an interconnected, efficient supply chain network
  • Champion safe, compliant operations aligned with corporate group standards while optimizing resources and improving efficiencies
  • Collaborate with Business Unit leaders and stakeholders to develop medium-term strategies addressing people, processes, systems, and infrastructure
  • Oversee KPIs, dashboards, and benchmarking to ensure transparency, accountability, and data-driven decision-making for measurable performance improvement
  • Drive productivity initiatives, evaluate tools and technologies, and lead cross-functional changes to deliver sustainable enhancements
  • Ensure compliance in transport activities, customs, licensing, and fleet operations to safeguard organizational standards
  • Implement vehicle lifecycle management, fleet renewal planning, and oversee fleet-related capex and lease submissions to meet business needs efficiently and sustainably
  • Build strong relationships with external transport providers, conduct “make-or-buy” analyses, and ensure compliance with contract standards and service requirements

  • Visible change leader with proven ability to challenge the status quo and deliver business improvement preferably in an operational environment
  • Strong communication & influencing skills at all levels with cross functional and matrix organisations
  • Work with integrity, role modelling the behaviours aligned to being an inclusive workplace
  • You have a broad knowledge of logistics, supply chain & transport processes and best practices
  • Knowledge of planning & scheduling systems is beneficial
  • Knowledge of supply chain contractual and import/ export processes beneficial
