About the Role
As the Associate Engineer for Flood Risk and Drainage, you will lead a small team delivering Flood Risk Assessments, SuDS designs, and flood alleviation schemes from concept to construction. Your responsibilities include technical delivery, project management, fee proposal preparation, and mentoring junior staff.
Proficiency in MicroDrainage, InfoDrainage, and Flow is essential. Experience with QGIS, river modelling software, and highways/earthworks design is a plus.

Candidate Requirements
- Strong Flood Risk Engineering experience in a consultancy
- Technical expertise in flood risk assessments and SuDS drainage
- Experience with flood alleviation schemes, planning policy, and drainage guidance
- Proficiency in MicroDrainage, InfoDrainage, and Flow
- Degree in Civil Engineering; working towards or holding CEng (MICE or CIWEM)
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with project management and team development abilities
