Associate Human Resources Business Partner- (Regional) – Location: Belfast, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom. Full-Time, Permanent. Hybrid: 3 days in office. Travel to Shannon, Cork, Belfast International and Belfast City may be required.
About the Role
Swissport is looking for an exceptional Human Resources Partner to join our Dublin team. You’ll work with operational managers across departments and business lines, and report to the Senior HR Business Partner. You’ll lead impactful projects, develop processes, and deliver HR interventions tailored to operational needs and business goals. This role is suitable for someone who thrives on collaboration, engagement, and delivering meaningful change.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives, driving transformational change.
- Design and implement processes to support organisational transformation and continuous improvement.
- Provide guidance and support on key HR functions, including:
- Performance management
- Disciplinary and grievance handling
- Absence management
- TUPE processes and union relations
- Mentor and coach management on complex employee relations matters, including restructuring, talent development, and policy interpretation.
- Conduct labour forecasting and create talent acquisition strategies to ensure resource needs are met.
- Design and deliver programmes to enhance employee engagement, harmonisation, and integration.
- Foster positive and productive relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including union representatives.
- Analyse patterns and trends to proactively develop HR solutions that drive business success.

- Employee turnover metrics
Qualifications
- CIPD qualification is essential.
- Preferably 3–5 years of HR experience, with a minimum of 2 years in an HR Business Partnering role.
- Strong foundation and expertise in HR principles and practices, including employment law and compliance requirements.
- Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills, coupled with outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
- Comprehensive understanding of the full employee lifecycle.
- Proven ability to coach employees and management effectively through complex and challenging situations.
- Thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous, and rapidly changing environments.
- Demonstrates the ability to set high personal goals and work independently.
