The value you’ll add:

This role is part of the UK HSBC Innovation Banking Marketing Team. As an Associate, you will provide crucial support to the team across the board, and specifically within Content, Events and PR. This role is hands‑on and highly collaborative, working closely with internal stakeholders and agency partners to ensure the bank’s brand voice is consistent, credible and engaging everywhere that we show up.

What you can expect to be doing:

  • Plan, coordinate, and deliver a designated portfolio of small‑scale events, webinars and briefings
  • Manage event timelines, logistics and attendee communication
  • Develop event briefs, run of show documents and post‑event reports (where applicable)
  • Serve as a point of contact for all BD events
  • Manage the processing of all invoices for event managers (x4) including raising POs and ensuring timely payments to vendors
  • Serve as the point of contact for all invoice queries for the events function
  • Support contract processing for event managers
  • Provide ad‑hoc support to Head of Events & Partnerships with monthly and quarterly mandatory reporting
  • Attend specific industry events for networking and personal brand development regularly

Requirements:

  • Excellent event and project management skills
  • Understanding of the innovation ecosystem and key players within
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to work with senior stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Excellent execution and delivery skills with a meticulous attention to detail
  • Proven ability to work within a complex matrix organisation
  • Ability to multi‑task and shift gears quickly; sense of urgency
  • Flexibility needed as out of hours work will be required

Where you’ll be based:

Our home office in Finsbury Square, London. We offer hybrid working to our employees, so you can flex between home and the office, with a current requirement to be in the office 2 days per week.
