Are you looking to grow your housing litigation career within a purpose-led firm making a real difference?
Our nationally recognised Housing Litigation team is expanding in Birmingham, and we’re looking for an Associate (Solicitor or Barrister) to join our thriving, friendly team.
At Anthony Collins, we advise landlords only, including housing associations, local authorities, charity landlords and housing co-operatives across England. We support clients with a wide range of housing and residential property litigation matters, including anti-social behaviour and disrepair litigation, possession proceedings, access injunctions and broader housing law advice.
What you’ll be doing:
You’ll deliver a varied and stimulating caseload, including:
- Run a varied caseload including ASB injunctions and possession claims
- Defend disrepair claims and supervise legal assistants
- Undertake advocacy at possession hearings and injunction returns
- Advise on housing management issues and policy reviews
- Handle leasehold and shared ownership disputes
- Has housing or residential leasehold litigation experience
- Is confident with advocacy and court work
- Enjoys collaborating and delegating to junior colleagues
- Communicates clearly using plain English
- Builds strong, trusted client relationships
You’ll join our Birmingham team of 10 housing litigation specialists and 5 experienced secretaries, working in a collaborative and supportive environment with:
- Hybrid working.
- 25 days holiday, 2 gift days at Christmas.
