As an Associate Product Manager, you’ll be at the frontier of industry innovation—sourcing and combining disparate data sets to drive efficiency and unlock new insights for the world’s largest investment managers. This role offers the opportunity to build new tools and features while working across nearly every product in our portfolio.
You’ll join the Market Data Product Team, collaborating closely with our existing Market Data Product Manager to deliver on the roadmap for current data products and identify new ways to enhance our regulatory services through improved data sourcing and processing.
What You'll Be Working On
- Drive the development of new features on Data Adapter, our data integration tool that accelerates onboarding across FundApps’ compliance monitoring products, asset classes, and edge-case scenarios.
- Contribute to the strategic direction of how and where FundApps stores market data—both self-sourced and via partners—and execute on related initiatives.
- Support Implementation Managers and Client Success teams during client onboarding and troubleshooting, identifying ways to improve internal processes and knowledge-sharing.
- Champion the adoption of our Market Data services and promote new developments to our client community.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with market data and regulatory data providers (e.g., stock exchanges, takeover panels).
- Collaborate with the Product and Partnerships teams to identify and pursue new revenue opportunities through additional data integrations.
- Explore the potential of AI and machine learning to enhance client outcomes and improve product efficiency.
- Engage with clients and prospects to understand their problems and motivations before proposing product solutions.
- Help communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, managing expectations and priorities.
- Maintain a well-groomed product backlog that’s responsive to customer needs and aligned with delivering the right value at the right time.
What You'll Bring To The Team
- 2+ years’ experience in a product ownership or data specialist/content role in a dynamic, SaaS business or market data provider e.g. Bloomberg, LSE Group.
- Knowledge of Equities, Bonds and Derivative financial products
- An interest in and working understanding of regulatory, financial or investment products and some familiarity with the data that supports them.
- An ability to work in growing, fast-paced, agile environments.
- An ability to think in terms of the big picture but deliver on the details.
- A keen interest in industry trends and are ready to evaluate and incorporate new opportunities into how we work and what we offer.
- Knowledge of Data Strategy (data pipelines & Interactions between APIs, databases, data transformation pipelines) would be a big benefit in helping build out a future company-wide data strategy
- Knowledge of AI/ML (even conceptually) would be a bonus
The salary for this role is between £50,000-£60,000 and the final offer will be based on your skills and experience.
