Associate Structural Engineer (Building Structures)

Your Role
- Lead the structural design of projects using Eurocodes and British Standards.
- Oversee design delivery using tools such as TEKLA, TEDDS, and ROBOT.
- Carry out structural inspections and condition surveys of existing buildings.
- Produce high-quality technical reports, defect analysis, and feasibility assessments.
- Manage client relationships, project timelines, and resource planning.
- Mentor and support junior engineers, encouraging their professional development.
- Represent the business in meetings, tenders, and design presentations.
What We’re Looking For
- Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering, ideally with Chartered status (IStructE or ICE).
- Proven experience in delivering building structures projects from concept to completion.
- Strong experience in structural surveys, inspections, and technical report writing.
- Proficiency in structural design software and sound knowledge of engineering principles.
- Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills.
- A proactive, solution-focused approach with a commitment to high-quality work.
