(Associate/Graduate) Onboarding Consultant

Location: Hybrid - 2 days per week in our Ballymena HQ, Co Antrim.

Contract type: Permanent

Hours: Flexibility to work occasional US Hours is required.

We know that onboarding is one of the most important moments in a customer’s journey — and we’re looking for an Associate Onboarding Consultant to help make that experience exceptional.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the technical configuration of platform features, including user roles, permissions, integrations, finance and environment setup, under guidance from senior consultants or implementation specialists, according to the agreed-upon design specifications.
  • Support testing of solutions, providing guidance to ensure testing meets functional requirements and quality standards, actively participating in test planning and execution phases.
  • Coordinate and schedule consultation meetings, UAT sessions, and training workshops with customers, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and prepared.
  • Facilitate seamless virtual onboarding experiences, guiding clients through platform setup, key milestones, and best practices with clarity and care.
  • Support the execution of onboarding plans by tracking milestones, managing timelines, and ensuring deliverables are met.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Product, Implementation, Support) to align onboarding activities with technical readiness.
  • Maintain onboarding trackers, and prepare client-facing materials such as process documentation and learning resources.
  • Respond to onboarding-related queries with clarity, empathy, and professionalism.
  • Assist in refining onboarding templates to improve consistency and scalability.
  • Gather feedback from clients and internal teams to identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Shadow senior consultants to learn best practices in onboarding strategy, stakeholder engagement, and change management.

What we are looking for

  • Experience in help desk, customer service, onboarding, or account management.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and adaptability.
  • A customer-first mindset with patience and empathy.
  • Ability to translate technical detail into simple, actionable steps.
  • Confident with standard desktop applications (e.g., Gmail, Excel, Word).

Desirable Experience - It’s not a deal breaker, but ideally you will have:

  • Experience in SaaS/technology businesses.
  • Previous onboarding experience.
