What you’ll do:

  • Lead audit assignments, including planning, fieldwork, and completion.
  • Prepare company accounts and corporation tax computations in line with procedures.
  • Carry out specialist and ad hoc assignments such as pensions, charities, due diligence, and systems reviews.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor junior team members.
  • Research and analyse financial statements and audit-related issues.
  • Maintain client confidentiality and build strong professional relationships.
  • Proactively liaise with client management to resolve problems and recommend improvements.
  • Manage assignments and report to audit managers or partners on progress.

What you’ll bring:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified (or finalist), with audit exposure in a multi-partner practice.
  • Strong technical knowledge, management, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Leadership, training, and mentoring ability.
  • Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office, with knowledge of Sage, Xero, and ideally CCH.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining superior client service.
  • A proactive, motivated self-starter who thrives in a team environment.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of current legislation.
  • Ideally, a driver with your own car.
