ePeople is recruiting an Audit Senior for a respected, growth-minded accountancy firm in London. You will take ownership of a varied client portfolio, lead fieldwork on statutory audits, and play a key role in delivering high-quality assurance while coaching junior colleagues. This is an excellent step for a newly qualified or recently qualified auditor who wants clear progression and meaningful client exposure.What you’ll doLead end-to-end fieldwork on statutory audits under UK GAAP and ISAs, from planning through completion.Prepare risk assessments, audit strategies, and testing approaches tailored to each engagement.Review work performed by junior team members, provide coaching, and ensure files meet internal quality standards.Draft sections of statutory accounts under FRS 102 and the Companies Act; assist with group reporting where required.Produce clear audit documentation, management letters, and action-oriented recommendations.Manage client communications, timelines, and information requests to keep engagements on track.Identify control weaknesses and practical improvements, escalating significant matters promptly.Contribute to team knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives.RequirementsACA or ACCA qualified (or finalist with strong experience in external audit).Solid working knowledge of UK GAAP, ISAs, and FRS 102; exposure to IFRS is advantageous.Demonstrable experience leading audit sections or complete audits for SMEs and mid-market clients.Proficiency with audit software and Excel; familiarity with data analytics tools is a plus.Strong communication skills, professional judgement, and a collaborative mindset.Excellent organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise competing deadlines.Eligibility to work in the UK.BenefitsCompetitive salary in the £55,000–£65,000 range plus benefits and bonus potential.Hybrid working with flexibility around client commitments.Structured progression with mentoring and access to technical training and CPD.25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, pension, and wellbeing initiatives.Supportive team culture that values quality, curiosity, and client service.
