A background in automated machinery systems and manufacturing solutions is required. The role

Manage a small team of 4 design engineers. Design using 2D AutoCAD and Inventor 3D CAD software. Design machines and systems from the concept stage through to the final detailed stage. Involved with planning, organising and customer meetings working closely with the project leader. Solving problems and initiating corrective actions as required, ensuring that the project is completed on time and within budget. Developing team skills set, motivation. Proactively engaging with emerging advances such as digital twins, Industry 4.0 principles. Participate in customer meetings to clarify technical requirements and present design concepts.

Person Profile

Several years’ relevant design experience within an automated machinery setting – essential. Worked as a senior design engineer with supervisory and leadership skills, expertise and career objectives – essential. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, robotics, and automation technologies – essential.
