Overview

Join us as an Automation Engineer at Computershare UK. The role is based in the Edinburgh office, with a minimum of three days a week onsite and flexible hybrid working.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automation scripts and frameworks to support testing and other stages of the development lifecycle.
• Translate requirements into automated test scenarios and support development teams.
• Lead test approach, mitigate risk and provide continual feedback on product quality.
• Upskill team members, share best practices and mentor in automation testing.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with test automation programming in Selenium (UI/API) and Java, SQL, JUnit.
• Excellent understanding of software development lifecycle, architecture and technologies.
• Experience with CI/CD practices, Test-Driven approaches and ATDD/BDD.
• Knowledge of performance, security, usability or accessibility testing and scripting/database querying skills.
• Excellent problem‑solving, decision‑making skills and ability to collaborate in cross‑functional agile teams.
