What You'll Be Doing

As our Automation Projects Manager - Warehousing, you will shape the future of logistics across the Group by leading the design and development of automation solutions. You will work with internal teams and external partners to deliver scalable systems.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to scope, design, and document automation projects.
  • Create detailed User Requirement Specifications (URS) and Capital Request documentation.
  • Identify and evaluate suppliers, maintaining a robust network of automation partners.
  • Develop bespoke automation solutions aligned with Group strategy and ROI targets.
  • Support project handovers to the Capital Projects Team and future deployments.
  • Maintain a pipeline of automation initiatives to drive continuous improvement.
  • Engage with site leadership teams to ensure alignment and adoption.
  • Work with Procurement and Opex teams to identify benefits and secure funding.

  • Degree-level education or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • 3+ years' experience in warehouse automation.
  • Strong understanding of WMS and ERP systems.
  • Proven track record in designing and implementing automation solutions.
  • Commercial acumen and ability to assess cost-effectiveness.
  • Familiarity with Health & Safety compliance for equipment.
  • CAD software experience (preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Project tools.
  • Ability to influence and engage senior leadership teams.
