Overview
We're looking for an Automation Team Leader (UiPath & Workato) to join Cranswick Plc's growing automation function. In this role, you'll lead a small team of automation developers, guide projects, and help shape how we use technology to make our processes faster, smarter, and more efficient. You'll also set standards, share best practices, and work with colleagues across the business to identify the biggest opportunities for automation. Your work will help the business run more smoothly while fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Deliver automation projects and set a high standard for how things are done.
- Build, launch, and improve automation solutions using UiPath and Workato.
- Create and grow a Centre of Excellence, helping the business adopt best practices for automation.
- Work with colleagues across the business to find the most valuable automation opportunities.
- Ensure all automation solutions are reliable, safe, and built to last.
- Promote automation and show what's possible to the wider organisation.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with UiPath (Studio, Orchestrator, etc.).
- Practical experience with Workato or another automation/integration tool.
- Track record of delivering automation projects from start to finish.
- Experience leading or mentoring a team.
- Good understanding of systems integration and workflows.
- Strong communication skills – able to explain technical ideas clearly.
- Bonus: Experience with Power Automate, Python, or ERP systems.
