As a Senior Automation Test Engineer, you will work on large and complex programmes with wide-ranging technologies that tackle some of the biggest national security challenges.
We are looking to recruit candidates with a passion for quality, mentoring, and community building. You will be joining highly Agile, multi-disciplinary teams working in DevOps practices and tools to deliver high-quality software. You’ll be hands-on in aiding and implementing test strategies with a strong understanding of Modern Testing Principles.
You’ll have the chance to work on some of the latest and greatest technologies. Our involvement with all engineering disciplines throughout the SDLC places us in a unique position to support the continued sustainment and development of our sovereign defence capabilities.

Our UK Cyber & Intelligence business combines modern software development approaches with a rich heritage and experience in the Defence and security sectors. - Work in multiple environments as part of a collaborative and multi-functional team
- Deliver Test capability, automated solutions, to support mission-critical solutions
- Define and execute test activities independently or within a team
- Identify Testing solutions, specifically automated solutions, to reduce software time-to-market
- Translate business and technical requirements into comprehensive testable scenarios

We are looking for:
- Solid experience of the SDLC, agile methodologies/principles, and DevOps tools/techniques
- Proven track record of delivering quality Automated Test solutions in a fast-paced engineering environment
- Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, analytical, planning, and communication skills, with an aptitude for learning new technologies quickly
- Self-motivated and able to inspire others in test best practices, focused on quality outcomes
- Experience with Test Automation tools/frameworks for various application layers, utilizing techniques such as TDD, BDD, CI/CD
- Degree or equivalent experience
- ISTQB Certification
Security clearance:
You must currently hold the highest level of UK Government clearance (DV).
