Motor Vehicle Tutor/Assessor hybrid role

Responsibilities
- Undertake whole class delivery within the college environment.
- Undertake workplace assessments and prepare apprentices for end-point assessment.
- Carry out reviews and set action plans for apprentices, including SMART targets and the delivery of wider skills topics.
- Develop the College’s offer in Motor Vehicle sector in conjunction with employer partners and awarding bodies.
- Collaborate with the Apprenticeship Team to support growth of the provision to meet local and regional needs.
Qualifications and experience
- Suitable candidates must have recognised industry qualifications/experience and ideally be confident in all aspects of classroom teaching and workplace assessment.
- Experience and qualifications in teaching and/or assessing Motor Vehicle at level 2 and level 3 are desirable, and assessment qualifications (TAQA, A1, V1 or equivalent) are desirable; candidates without these will be considered and will need to work towards achievement as part of the role.
- Knowledge and/or experience of using an e-portfolio system would be beneficial.
