Senior Recruitment Consultant at Morson Edge | AWS Infrastructure Engineer (AD, Windows, AWS, Powershell) – up to £550 p/d, 6 months contract – Manchester/Hybrid We’re partnered with a leading tech business that requires an AWS Infrastructure Engineer on a 6‑month contract to migrate legacy (AWS‑hosted) Windows/AD infrastructure and consolidate it into a single environment. The role is fast‑tracked and begins ASAP. Key Responsibilities

Plan and execute migration of legacy Windows/AD infrastructure within AWS. Consolidate and optimise existing AWS and Windows environments. Develop and maintain scripts using PowerShell for automation. Manage DNS and related AWS services during migration.

Requirements

Windows‑focused engineer with a proven track record of migration projects around AD within AWS (or Azure). Strong knowledge of AWS EC2, Windows Server, Active Directory, PowerShell and DNS. Experience with contract work and delivering within a 6‑month timeline.

Compensation & Contract

Pay: up to £550 per day (outside). Duration: 6 months. Location: Croydon / hybrid.
