About the job
This is a writing heavy role – on a day to day, it’ll be writing corporate social media posts – mainly for LinkedIn, supplemented by longer form copy for thought leadership articles.
- Strategy & Consulting: Develop tailored organic and paid social media strategies, advise clients in collaboration with wider marketing teams, and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and meetings.
- Social Media Management: Build and manage strategic content calendars, create and post engaging content (mainly LinkedIn, plus Instagram and Facebook), manage community engagement, stay updated on social trends, and lead paid social campaigns including copywriting and asset development with design teams.
- Writing: Draft social media posts focused on LinkedIn company pages and C-suite profiles, plus thought leadership blogs and newsletters for websites and LinkedIn.
- Digital Content Management: Advise clients on website strategy and design, and project-manage website updates through collaboration with web developers.
- Creative: Generate ideas and collaborate with design teams to create visual assets (photos, graphics, GIFs, videos), including filming and editing basic video content as needed.
- Social Media Reporting: Conduct social media audits, analyse and report on metrics monthly/quarterly, identify strategy improvements, and adjust content plans accordingly.
- Wider Team Support: Manage social media promotion strategies for client events and coordinate with videographers to capture high- and low-fi event content for social channels.
- Social Media Expertise: Serve as the agency’s go-to social media expert, advising teams on best practices and keeping up with platform trends and updates.
- New Business: Contribute social media management insights to proposals and join new business calls to present social strategy and expertise.
About you
You’ll have:
- 3-4 years experience in agency social or digital roles, confident in managing LinkedIn (and other socials).
- Deep knowledge of mainstream and emerging social channels, with solid experience managing social channels for businesses – particularly LinkedIn.
- Excellent copywriting and proofreading skills, able to write clear, engaging content that nails clients’ tone and fits each platform perfectly.
- The creativity and strategic smarts to think big while getting stuck in with the day-to-day.
- Confidence using social scheduling tools, and a bonus if you’re familiar with Adobe Creative Suite for quick asset tweaks.
- Strong communication skills and experience in client-facing roles.
- Top-notch organisation and planning skills, thriving in fast-paced environments without dropping the ball.
- Experience managing projects with designers, videographers, and production crews, giving clear creative direction and helpful feedback.
