Why Michelin

Michelin values people and offers challenge, progression, and sustainability. We support flexible work arrangements and opportunities to innovate and collaborate to make a difference in the mobility industry.

Who we are looking for

We’re seeking a motivated individual ready to embrace new challenges and grow. You excel at building meaningful relationships, solving problems with a practical approach, and are comfortable with data. A background in sales is helpful, but the role emphasizes foundational levers and hands-on execution. Training and ongoing support will be provided to help you succeed. You will demonstrate resilience, listening skills, and the ability to understand customer needs and build trust as you win, grow, and maintain business.

What’s the work environment like

Work is largely independent, with regular team and manager check-ins. A manager will join you for a customer visit about once a month. In the first months, you’ll receive more frequent support to settle in.

The role is hands-on and may involve inspecting vehicles in varying weather conditions. You will receive comprehensive training on technical details and sales skills to become an expert in our products.

What kind of person will thrive

Self-motivated, good time management, and effective account management that delivers results for yourself, the team, and the company. The role offers flexibility and empowerment along with responsibility to achieve targets.

What will you be doing?

  • Your week starts with a team meeting on Monday to set you up for success.
  • Spend most of your time with customers, learning about fleets and operations, and identifying how we can solve their challenges.
  • Approximately 80% of your time with end users, 18% with key dealers, and 2% with OE dealers.
  • Be hands-on with vehicles, come rain or shine.
  • Record calls in Salesforce.
  • Occasional overnight stays and some weekend work may be required depending on workload (not compulsory).
  • Receive thorough training on technical details and sales skills, with ongoing support and tools to succeed.
