Overview
Zaizi is looking for a Senior Software Developer with solid technology skills, focused on improving outcomes and user experience. You will be reliable in your own deliverables and contribute innovative ideas within a multi-disciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Develop digital solutions delivered to the GDS standard
- Demonstrate experience in Agile environments
- Contribute to product development based on observation, experimentation and user research
- Collaborate in multi-disciplinary/DevOps teams including product owners, UX designers and engineers
- Participate in continuous improvement with multiple releases per week
Qualifications
- Coding and testing: designing, coding and debugging Golang-based systems
- Frontend technologies: HTML, CSS, Bootstrap
- Golang
- Spring Boot
- Docker
- Kubernetes
- Atlassian
- Build tools: Maven, Gradle, Ant
- Source control: Git with branching/merging
- Testing: TDD, unit testing, JUnit, Mockito, Cypress
- Relational databases: MySQL and PostgreSQL (data modelling, SQL scripts, stored procedures)
- Functional test automation (API/UI) and shift-left testing
Nice to have
- AWS
- Knowledge of Open Source BPMN engines (Camunda, Activiti or Flowable)
- Experience with front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js)
- RedHat OpenShift for container orchestration
- Knowledge of NCSC's 14 cloud security principles
Security clearance
Role requires UK security clearance. We can currently recruit candidates with the right to work in the UK without sponsorship and who have lived in the UK for the last 5+ years continuously.
Interview Process
- 1st stage: Initial phone screening
- 2nd stage: Technical interview
- Final stage: 10–15 minute presentation and panel interview
Salary
£60,000 – £75,000
