Carl Friedrik is a luxury brand specializing in high-end bags and accessories, designed with a focus on functionality, craftsmanship, and timeless aesthetics. As a luxury bag designer, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end design projects, ensuring each product upholds the brand’s exacting standards.

This role requires strong conceptual skills, with the ability to develop and refine design ideas that balance aesthetics, functionality, and brand identity. You should have a deep understanding of colours, materials, and finishes (CMF), ensuring that every design reflects Carl Friedrik’s premium positioning. Design research and trend analysis will be essential in identifying new opportunities and enhancing our product offering.

With a strong command of Adobe Creative Suite, digital sketching, and 3D tools (Clo3D is a plus), you will develop detailed design concepts, technical drawings, and production-ready specifications. A deep understanding of materials, bag construction, and manufacturing techniques is essential, along with expertise in industry testing standards and optimizing designs for scalable production while maintaining quality and craftsmanship.

This role also involves close collaboration with factories and suppliers, providing clear technical specifications and supporting documentation to ensure seamless execution from prototype to final production. You will work closely with the Senior design as well as Head of design, ensuring that each product aligns with Carl Friedrik’s commitment to quality, innovation, and timeless design.
