Banking Non-Financial Risk & Compliance – Wholesale Banking, Manager
- Within our Financial Services Risk practice, the Banking Non-Financial Risk & Regulatory Transformation team works with banking and capital markets clients on their most pressing risk and regulatory programmes. We work across Front Office, Risk, Compliance and Finance functions.

Responsibilities
- Lead projects across a broad range of Banking Non-Financial Risk and Regulatory Transformation initiatives for wholesale banking clients.
- Design and implement 1st and 2nd line Non-Financial Risk functions; manage governance and controls reviews and remediation.
- Contribute to transformation initiatives within Finance, Risk and Compliance functions and across the 3 Lines of Defence; support booking model changes and trade migration initiatives.
- Support sustainability reporting, operating model design, and regulatory reviews and remediation efforts (e.g., transaction reporting, algorithmic trading, trader mandates).
- Build client relationships, deliver insights, and work across global teams to provide value to clients.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in financial services risk and control projects from consulting, banking, or regulatory backgrounds.
- Understanding of risk management and control frameworks in wholesale banks or similar contexts.
- Experience with senior stakeholders, developing relationships, and providing actionable management information.
- Technical and practical experience in non-financial risk management, sustainability, and/or controls in a wholesale banking context.
- Willingness to learn, develop new skills, and contribute to innovative client propositions.
- Proven track record of delivering change projects, monitoring engagement progress and budgets; experience managing small teams of junior staff.
- Strong commercial awareness, reporting skills, and ability to lead teams with initiative.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; experience in visual presentation and report writing is preferred.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage ambiguity, and be agile across multiple projects in financial services.
- Good judgement in engagements and appropriate escalation of issues; strong attention to detail with robust analysis and presentation skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI/Tableau).
