Position: Base Maintenance Planner (16027)

Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Base Maintenance Planner to ensure the ongoing airworthiness of our fleet. This role involves planning and coordinating scheduled and unscheduled heavy maintenance activities, which are vital for aircraft safety, reliability, and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and execute Heavy Base Maintenance (HBM), including painting, repairs, and modifications.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and company procedures.
• Create and manage detailed work scopes and maintain accurate aircraft records.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provision materials and resources efficiently.
• Oversee work package distribution and ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.

Requirements:

• Strong maintenance planning skills with knowledge of aircraft maintenance programs.
• Experience with hangar and slot utilization, cost awareness, and end-of-lease planning.
• Proficiency in MS Office (intermediate to advanced); experience with AMOS and AirNavX is advantageous.
• Understanding of EASA, FOCA, and CAA regulations.
• Ability to make safety-conscious decisions under pressure.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Location & Hours: Based in Luton, full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday, with occasional shift coverage (07:00-19:00). Hybrid working arrangements available.
