Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Benefits Analyst to support a UK Payroll project focused on Workday. This is a hands-on role requiring strong analytical capabilities, deep understanding of benefits and pensions, and experience in operational support and testing. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of payroll-related benefits processes during a critical project phase.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide operational support for UK payroll and benefits processes within Workday
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to interpret policy and resolve complex queries
  • Conduct thorough testing and report results to ensure system accuracy and compliance
  • Analyse and manage data to support project goals and decision-making
  • Identify and solve problems quickly and effectively within a fast-paced environment
  • Support project management activities and contribute to successful delivery
  • Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, both verbally and in writing

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Benefits and/or Pension experience within a UK payroll context
  • Advanced proficiency in Workday, particularly in benefits and payroll modules
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies and experience reporting test outcomes
  • Proven ability to quickly grasp complex processes and systems
  • Experience in operational support and stakeholder collaboration
  • Excellent analytical and data management skills
  • Strong problem-solving and project management capabilities
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal

Additional Information:

  • This role is onsite 3 days per week in Northampton
  • Candidates must be based within a commutable distance as expenses will not be covered
  • Ideal for professionals with 3–5 years of experience in a similar role
