Job Role: Bereavement Consultant - 12 month Fixed Term Contract
Function: Customer Service
Location: Ingenuity House, Birmingham. 6 months in office and then Hybrid (office and remote).

Responsibilities
We’re looking for self-motivated and analytical people with a passion for delivering customer service to support customers and non-customers at a time they need us most. Completing applications and bereavement activity timely and with accuracy.
You’ll live near our main office Ingenuity House, Birmingham and be flexible to work in our office 100% of the time for the initial 6 months. After the initial 6 months it will include working from home and from the office. If working remotely is new to you, we’ll give you the support and equipment you need to get set up, including a company laptop. In return we ask that you have a suitable environment to work that allows you to focus on our customers without distraction.
You’ll be working when our customers need us, 35 hours per week between 8am – 6pm.
What You’ll Bring
- Consistently communicate with our customers in the most productive way when they need us.
- Customers want to speak to friendly, helpful people when they call their bank. You’ll be able to find out exactly what our customers’ needs are by listening to them and building good relationships, always looking to be better for each customer.
- You’ll provide clear information and support. You’ll do back-office tasks, answer calls and help ensure every TSB customer and representative gets the best outcome.
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple cases.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
- Experience in engaging with customers or representatives and articulating clear requirements.
- Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills.
What We Offer In Return
- Base salary: £24,000 from day one
- Benefits package including up to 9% additional pay to spend on flexible benefits
- Variable Pay Award (5% / £1,200 on target) based on company performance
