The role

Are you an events executive looking for your next step in a fast-paced, insight-led events business? Do you have connections or knowledge of top end venues/restaurants/destinations not only in London but globally? If not, do you have the appetite to gain and build this? We are seeking someone to help build out and drive the bespoke events side of the business, which is rapidly taking off and is now being given its own team. This is a unique opportunity to join a new division backed by GlobalData, where success is powered by market-leading analysts, high-traffic digital platforms, and an established events team. GlobalData brings together authoritative insight, trusted industry relationships, and a strong reputation for delivering high-quality B2B experiences.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Drive end-to-end sponsorship sales for exclusive, single-sponsored roundtable events
  • Engage with senior stakeholders across multiple industries, including tech, healthcare, finance, and consumer markets
  • Identify and approach relevant solution providers seeking targeted access to high-value business audiences
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align event content, commercial positioning, and audience acquisition
  • Deliver consistent revenue growth against individual sales targets and KPIs

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of B2B sponsorship sales experience, ideally within events or media
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to engage senior-level stakeholders
  • A consultative sales approach – able to uncover needs and position sponsorships as strategic opportunities
  • Excellent communication, pipeline management, and deal-closing skills
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and target-driven
