Are you a dedicated Bid Managerlooking to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation? At Tarmac, we are on the lookout for a Bid Manager to join our team.

About the Role

Reporting into the General Manager for Contracting, the successful Bid Manager will be responsible for the development of the National Road Planning commercial strategy that supports the effective delivery of the commercial elements of the business plans and objectives. You will also be identifying and securing key strategic commercial opportunities to deliver budgeted volumes, margin expectations and growth and ensuring robust competitive tenders are submitted on time and of a high-quality standard.

Geographically, we are not precious on location, but you will be expected to be at our Market Rasen site in Lincolnshire a couple of days per week.The majority of the remainder of the week will be involved in visiting other Tarmac sites mainly around the Midlands where you will be pricing up work and aiming to win it.

Due to the nature of the work, a company car will be provided.
