Bilingual Content Designer (Welsh and English) - MoJ - SEO

Nationally based role within the Ministry of Justice (MoJ). You will design user‑centred content in English and Welsh for the Office of the Public Guardian (OPG) digital services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, iterate and publish high‑quality bilingual content across OPG’s digital services.
• Collaborate with the Welsh Language Unit, translation teams and UX researchers to ensure accuracy, accessibility and parity.
• Advocate user‑centred design principles, share knowledge with the MoJ design community, and contribute to cross‑government content groups.
• Use data, research and evidence to inform content decisions and monitor and improve content based on user feedback.
• Support translation processes, bilingual usability testing and participant recruitment for Welsh speakers.

Person Specification

• Experienced content designer with proven ability to create, improve and publish high‑quality, user‑centred content.
• Fluent Welsh speaker, comfortable creating and translating user‑centred content in English and Welsh.
• Experience designing for bilingual or multilingual products/services, understanding Welsh language nuances.
• Knowledge of using data, research and evidence to inform content decisions.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, multidisciplinary team using an iterative, agile and flexible approach.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and clear communication.
• Consistent application of content standards and style guidelines.
• Understanding of government accessibility requirements, designing content that works with assistive technologies.
