Conrad Consulting have partnered with one of the UK's leading AJ100 practices who are recruiting for a BIM Manager to join their Central London office.

The Company

This practice is a well-known name within the architectural industry with a long-standing reputation across their regional offices. Located in Central London, this medium/large design studio has established itself as one of the UK's premium AJ100 Architectural brands. With an extensive client base and a structured senior management team, the company continues to grow. Their core markets of Residential, Education and Healthcare are very active, and there is demand to grow the office by appointing senior-level hires such as this BIM Manager role.

The Position

This position is for a BIM Manager who will lead the strategic implementation, management and ongoing development of BIM processes and standards across the practice, ensuring efficient and consistent delivery of projects. The role is suited to someone who has worked in a BIM Manager role for 2-3 years or possibly a BIM Coordinator looking to take the next step.

You will provide technical support and guidance to project teams, particularly on Revit-related issues. You will essentially be the BIM & Revit guru for the office, offering responsive and effective support to all staff on Revit and modelling queries. The BIM Manager will identify training needs across the practice and coordinate BIM training sessions, mentoring staff at various levels in Revit and BIM processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic implementation, management and ongoing development of BIM processes and standards across the practice.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to project teams, particularly on Revit-related issues.
  • Act as the BIM & Revit expert for the office, delivering responsive support on Revit and modelling queries.
  • Identify training needs across the practice and coordinate BIM training sessions.
  • Mentor staff at various levels in Revit and BIM processes.
  • Lead change initiatives and drive BIM adoption across multiple projects.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously to ensure consistent BIM delivery.

Essential skills & experience

  • Demonstrable experience in a BIM Manager or similar leadership role within Architecture or Construction.
  • High proficiency in Revit and familiarity with Navisworks, Solibri and other BIM-related software.
  • In-depth understanding of ISO19650 and BIM Level 2 standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and lead change initiatives.
  • Comfortable leading teams and providing training & mentorship across the office in relation to Revit & BIM.

Salary & Benefits

Salary likely to be in the region of £50,000 - £60,000 (dependent on experience). Benefits include hybrid working, 23 days of annual leave plus bank holidays (rising to 25 days after three years), a generous pension scheme, and additional benefits.
