Blockchain + Full Stack Engineer

We are hiring for a backend/full-stack role focused on building the Helio platform. You will help build and architect the foundation of the Helio software platform which all other systems will flow from and interact with. You will use your experiences, skills and initiative to achieve high standards of code, logic and engineering prowess. We aim to deliver a platform led by engineering excellence with pragmatic approaches to solving problems and delivering financial grade quality throughout our products and services.

Technical knowledge is critical, but attitude matters in our startup environment. We look for people who enjoy uncertainty and want to figure out how to do things that haven’t been done before. You are a true team player, inherently positive, and you see solutions where others see problems. You should have a passion for Web3 technologies including NFTs and blockchain.

You may be fit for this role if you have:

• 5+ years of software engineering experience in backend teams primarily using Rust and Solidity, Node/Node.js, TS & JS in a full stack environment
• Fluency in Rust and Solidity or other similar smart contract languages
• 2+ years of experience in blockchain development
• Practical experience deploying smart contracts on the mainnets of major blockchains
• Contribution to a crypto project with a substantial token market cap is a plus
• Experience utilising CI/CD, APIs, Security, and Collaborative IDEs on public cloud platforms
• Experience with containers, deployment pipelines, A/B testing, Blue/Green deployment principles
• A passion for automation and defining everything via code to drive platform consistency
• Ability to troubleshoot and investigate complex issues across systems
• Desire to build, maintain and improve anything you work on with a high level of ownership
• Above all, engineers who want to do their best, learn, improve, grow, lead, help others and add value every day for themselves, teammates and Helio
