About This Opportunity

Join the Lloyds Banking Group's Business & Commercial Banking (BCB) division as an RPA Developer. In this role you will design, develop, and implement automated solutions using BluePrism and related technologies (e.g., Power Apps and Power Automate). You will collaborate with business analysts and end-users to gather requirements, create functional automated solutions, and communicate with stakeholders to ensure business rules are captured. You will participate in working groups, demonstrate automated solutions, and produce governance documents and dashboards. You will help ensure smooth transitions of live projects to the central control team and support post-deployment issues or configuration requests.

Role Responsibilities

  • RPA Solution Design: Lead solution and process design with proper review and approval; collaborate with business collaborators and SMEs to map processes and future state.
  • RPA Solution Configuration: Configure processes and objects using core workflow principles; ensure efficiency, maintainability, and alignment with the RPA Delivery Framework.
  • Business Support: Assess change impacts for aligned projects following standard RPA change control practices.
  • Project Management: Work within project planning constraints and communicate/flag identified risks.
  • Technical Documentation: Create detailed technical documents to support design and delivery.
  • Incident Management: Diagnose, raise, and resolve issues impacting robotic performance and automation.

What You Need

  • BluePrism Development Experience: Demonstrated experience as a BluePrism RPA Developer with BluePrism Developer accreditations (minimum developer level) or equivalent automation experience.
  • Continuous Improvement: Experience in Continuous Improvement and Customer Journey redesign.
  • Project Management: Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management practices.
  • Analytical Abilities: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Testing and Design Documentation: Experience in creating detailed technical documents and process maps.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders.

Nice-to-Have Experience

  • Programming: Python, Java or other scripting languages; Excel formulas, VBA, HTML.
  • RPA Tools: Experience with BluePrism; familiarity with Power Automate and UiPath.
  • Microsoft 365 and AI Tools: Experience with Automate, BI, Apps, Copilot; ability to work with large language models or tools like Google Tesseract.
  • Delivery Methodologies: Knowledge of Waterfall, Agile, Scrum.
  • Desktop Infrastructure knowledge.
