BMW & MINI Sales Director - National Role
Following internal promotion, we now have a Divisional Sales Director opportunity within our BMW and MINI division. We are looking for an individual with director or multi-site level experience in a premium motor retail environment.
We have a stable and successful BMW and MINI division with 14 sales points concentrated in the North East of England and North Yorkshire and in the South West. This division forms part of our UK footprint of 191 franchised motor retail outlets offering vehicle sales, servicing, parts and accident repair facilities representing all major manufacturers. The role will entail travel throughout the dealership network to ensure that you are close to the business, understand its nuances and are able to personally influence managers to help them succeed. Given the national scope of the role we are flexible in relation to the location of the successful candidate.
Reporting to the BMW and MINI Franchise Director, this role forms part of a divisional team of four who work together to set and drive the strategy and lead the dealership-based team to deliver results. The role focuses on ensuring the excellent and consistent execution of the Group’s and manufacturer’s sales strategy at the operational level. This starts with ensuring that the people in our dealerships understand our Active Sales process and have the tools, resources, stock and support to be able to deliver it. You will oversee sales campaigns, drive prospecting activity, liaise with the manufacturer to maximise their new car marketing impact on our Group, work with our own marketing department to drive used car sales and oversee stock procurement. You will also support the adoption of new sales systems, processes and change programmes.
Equally as important is ensuring that the teams deliver the process whilst keeping customer experience at the very centre of what they do. Profitability and customer satisfaction are the two primary deliverables for this role. You will take the lead in creating an environment which will deliver financial results alongside customer experience whilst ensuring compliance with the regulatory framework surrounding vehicle and regulated product sales.
