Division: Financial & Professional Risk (FINPRO) – Retail & Wholesale client base.

Responsibilities

• Inherit and maintain a book of mixed Wholesale & Retail clients.
• Convert new business enquiries and hit monthly targets.
• Generate new enquiry leads using initiative and in-house functions.
• Handle renewals and mid-term adjustments by assessing risk and claims information, gathering additional information from clients, and obtaining quotations from insurers.
• Present renewal quotations to customers promptly, pursuing instructions to achieve profitable renewal retention and growth within set timescales.
• Deal with mid-term adjustments and develop and sustain effective client relationships; analyse client needs and develop solutions.
• Respond promptly to client queries and ensure all communications with customers and insurers or other business contacts are accurately recorded.
• Attend joint visits with the Senior Account Executive.

About you (Qualifications & Skills)

• Excellent communication and written skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Desire for continuous development and a clear career progression within insurance.
• Insurance background handling both Retail & Wholesale clients; Professional Indemnity experience is ideally suitable.
• Experience as a Broker with a progressive insurance background; experience working with insurers and clients.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., Cert CII) or working towards them (ideally).
• Great customer service skills and excellent telephone manner; ability to network and build relationships.
• Drive and genuine passion to learn and develop within insurance; ability to use initiative and multi-task; updating relevant systems and admin.
• Acturis systems knowledge and experience (ideally).
