Job Purpose

Building Maintenance and Compliance (BMAC) scope, manage and deliver building refurbishment, building fabric repairs and undertake building compliance assessments on UU Operational Buildings.

Building compliance assessment are completed across Asbestos, Fire Safety and Water Hygiene (legionella) and recorded on compliance database software (Teams Enterprise and c365).

The Administrator role will play a key role in coordinating BMAC day to day activities (scheduling, SAP ETC), with a focus on updating and transferring compliance assessment data and information onto the compliance database, providing reports and dashboards in excel and PowerPoint to evidence works completed and overall compliance position.

About the Team

The BMAC team plays a vital role in maintaining and enhancing building maintenance and compliance across the company’s estate. Operating across five county hubs, the team delivers essential compliance assessments and remediation work in key areas such as asbestos, fire safety, and water hygiene (legionella). As the business enters AMP8, the team is expanding to meet increasing demands and responsibilities. This newly created Administrator role offers an exciting opportunity to support the team’s growth by improving internal systems and influencing how compliance data and building condition surveys are managed and presented. With a varied workload that includes administrative support, data management, and the development of key reporting materials, this is a chance to shape a new role and make a meaningful impact within a dynamic and growing team. The role will also offer the opportunity to work with wider teams across the whole of UU to deliver a robust programme of assessments and remediations.
