Our client is looking for an experienced and ambitious sustainability and energy professional to take the reins of their in-house Building Physics function. This is a rare opportunity to step into a ready-made role. The outgoing lead has developed the team and tools over the last two years. Now, they're seeking someone to take it further.
You'll join a progressive, multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy based in central Bristol, with a growing portfolio of design-led, low-carbon projects across the education, commercial, residential and community sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
·Lead the delivery of building physics and energy modelling services across a range of projects
·Oversee and manage SAP, SBEM, TM52, TM59, TM54 and Part L assessments
·Work closely with engineers and clients to integrate low-carbon and sustainable design principles
·Mentor and support junior staff and help develop internal capabilities
·Engage with clients and represent the business on sustainability matters
·Contribute to business development and potential expansion of sustainability services
What They're Looking For:
·Strong experience in building physics, sustainability, and energy modelling within a consultancy setting
·Comfortable working with tools like IES VE, Elmhurst, DesignBuilder, and others
·Knowledge of key assessment methodologies including SAP, SBEM, TM59, TM52 and Part L
·Forward-thinking mindset with a genuine interest in sustainable design
·Based in or near Bristol, or looking to relocate with an interest in hybrid working
·Ideally someone who is commercially minded and interested in developing client relationships
