An exciting opportunity for a Building Surveyor to join a Public Sector Union, working on a range of leased Commercial Projects across the south of the country within a great organization that supports chartership, offers a generous salary, and an unmatched benefits package.

Are you a Building Surveyor with experience in development, refurbishment, and maintenance schemes? Are you seeking an autonomous role where you will be home and site-based, managing your own workload?

This Union represents members employed across public service and utility companies, owning and leasing over 32 commercial properties—primarily office spaces—across the country. With a growing portfolio and over 500 employees, the organization is expanding its team. Due to increased workload, they are seeking a Building Surveyor to join their established business. The role requires nationwide travel.

Your responsibilities will include conducting planned and preventative maintenance of regional offices, performing regular inspections to assess property conditions, and preparing annual budgets for property-related matters. The primary patch will be the south of England, from Devon and Cornwall to Kent, with occasional nationwide property surveys.

This role is ideal for a Building Surveyor with experience in property surveying and maintenance, seeking a long-term career. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, keen attention to detail, and a desire to play a key role in a Public Sector organization.

  2. Conducting stock condition surveys and overseeing pre-planned maintenance schemes
