WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US
As a Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing, improving, and implementing operational processes and systems. You will work cross-functionally within Operations to deliver business change initiatives, enhance automation, and support strategic projects across the investment lifecycle.
WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
- Analyze existing investment operations processes and identify areas for improvement and automation.
- Gather and document detailed business and functional requirements from stakeholders.
- Act as a liaison between business teams and technology to ensure clear communication and solution alignment.
- Support the implementation of new systems, workflows, or operational controls.
- Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT), process documentation, and training.
- Lead or contribute to change initiatives such as system upgrades, data migration, and new asset class onboarding.
- Produce high-quality business analysis deliverables, user stories, process maps, and reporting specifications.
- Track and report on project milestones, risks, and dependencies.
- Maintain knowledge of operational systems
WHAT WE VALUE
- 2–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst within asset management, investment operations, or financial services.
- Good understanding of investment operations across the trade lifecycle (trade capture, settlement, cash & position reconciliation, corporate actions).
- Experience working with SimCorp’s operational platform
- Proven ability to write clear and concise business and functional requirements.
- Experience delivering projects using Agile methodologies.
- Strong data analysis skills (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI) and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Technology, or related field
