Overview

A well-known local authority is looking to bring on a Business Analyst on an initial 6 month contract basis to focus on process mapping from the front door of resident contact for multiple services, through to how demand is managed and delivered.

Responsibilities

  • Redesign processes from the front door of resident contact through to demand management and service delivery.
  • Automate various transactional services and redesign how face-to-face community hubs deliver value to residents, ensuring that complex needs are met.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to map current processes, identify improvements, and support implementation of channel shift and unified front door approaches.

Qualifications

  • Experience in customer services within local government, including either social care, housing or revenues and benefits, to be able to come into the council and hit the ground running.
  • Strong process mapping experience with unified front door or channel shift experience.
  • Experience of automating processes within a local authority.

Contract and Location

Hybrid on-site presence required 1-2 times per week in the South of the UK, approximately 1 hour to London.
