Job Description:

Function:

The Business Consultant will work with customers and Itineris teams to ensure the successful implementation of the UMAX solution, focusing on managing customer needs from a business and market regulation perspective. The role involves providing business and market guidance to application consultants and supporting mediation decisions with clients.

The position is based in Ghent (Sint-Denijs-Westrem), UK, or EIR, requiring experience in the Irish market (ROI and NIE) and ERP implementation experience is a plus.

UMAX is a cloud-based software for water and energy utilities, built on Microsoft Dynamics 365, automating business processes and enhancing customer engagement.

As our Business Consultant with market experience (EIR), you will:

• Serve as the link between Business and IT as a business-focused analyst.
• Manage customer expectations and support functional experts in translating business needs into functional requirements.
• Attend workshops and meetings onsite with clients.
• Provide feedback to product development, sales, and marketing teams.
• Contribute to the evolution of the UMAX solution for market readiness.
• Collaborate closely and develop strong relationships with clients, sales, pre-sales, product, and project teams.
• Participate in project progress meetings and proactively identify risks.
• Deliver high-quality consulting services to new and existing customers.
• Work with consultants to upskill in industry best practices and Irish energy market specifics.
• Continuously expand your knowledge of the Utility market in Ireland (ROI & NIE) and transfer knowledge to colleagues.

Qualifications:

• Strong analytical skills (master’s degree or equivalent experience).
• In-depth knowledge of the Irish energy market.
• At least +5 years’ experience as a Business/Functional Consultant in large ERP/CRM projects.
• Expertise in identifying business requirements and understanding customer processes.
• Skills in Business Process Management.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Dutch is a plus.
• Willingness to travel to client sites.
• Team-oriented, problem-solving mentality, proactive, quality-driven, customer-focused, adaptable to change.
