OverviewBusiness Development Executive - Transactional Banking. The role supports an assigned Relationship Manager (RM) in the Digital Transactional Banking (DTB) division to meet and exceed performance objectives by identifying and developing new corporate target customer industry sectors aligned to the Bank's strategy. The candidate should be focused, dedicated, and strive to exceed expectations while maintaining strong working relationships with DTB clients and colleagues.ResponsibilitiesContribute towards Digital Transaction Banking's success through sales support and achieving key performance targetsAcquire new business opportunities with a focus on Financial Regulated Companies including APIs, EMIs, Brokers, Asset Management Firms, Wealth Management Firms and Fund ManagersAcquire new business opportunities with a focus on payments and FXResearch, plan and implement new business sectors aligned to the Bank's strategyDevelop and maintain effective marketing schedulesDevelop and design campaign ideas for customer attractionMaintain iFAST Bank policies, procedures and controls and ensure they are followed as first line of defenceEnsure new business sectors maintain and improve service levels and facilities to increase customer service standards and brand loyaltyBuild strong relationships with third parties to raise the brand profile in the marketPerform other reasonable duties as requiredFoster strong relationships with colleagues and clients to optimise utilization of iFAST products and servicesSupport client retention strategies for new and existing customersEngage in networking, read professional publications, and grow your professional networkEnsure adherence to iFAST Bank\'s Treating Customers Fairly policy and Consumer Duty Policy when aligning new business sectors with facilitiesRequirementsEducation & Training ideally educated to degree level in finance or business-related discipline or marketing, with demonstrable relevant experienceKeep up to date with financial services and banking regulationsUnderstand Regulatory Licences applicable to Financial Institutions (training can be provided)Experience and SkillsMinimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, ideally within Retail or Commercial Banking, or a Non-Bank Financial Institution in the Payments sectorProven ability to meet key business targets individually and/or within a teamAbility to provide innovative ideas to drive revenue growthStructured, organized, and methodical in day-to-day planningAbility to interact with and influence key stakeholdersUnderstanding of services required by Financial Institutions such as Foreign Exchange, Payments, and Client savings servicesKnowledge of UK regulatory compliance requirements, AML/Financial Crime and risk management principles is preferredIndependent Action & Decision MakingProactively manage day-to-day activities ensuring adherence to policies and proceduresAccountability for Actions/ResultsImplement actions to achieve business objectives and grow new sector client bases and existing businessConfidential InformationEnsure client records and personal/financial information are securely maintained in compliance with GDPRWorking Conditions37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday; flexible to suit business needs with consideration of operational requirementsTravel within the UK based on branch and customer locations; changes discussed and agreed as neededMental Demands & Job ComplexityPlan multi-layered, integrated responsibilities; respond quickly and professionally to issuesOpen communication with management to address issues and prevent recurrenceAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesThe Right QualitiesGood team spiritDedicated to going the extra mileSmart and innovativeHighly self-driven to excelInquisitiveBenefitsAnnual leave: 25 days plus 8 bank holidaysPension plan: 4% employer contributionPrivate Medical InsuranceHybrid working: 60/40 split after probationProfessional development: ongoing training and career progressionFree gym access in the building
