Business Development Manager – Foodservice - London / M25 Area

Location: Remote-based with travel across London & monthly visits to office near Glasgow

An exciting opportunity to join a well-established, family-run food business as a Business Development Manager, covering the London and M25 area.

This role is ideal for a commercially driven individual with a passion for food and hospitality, who thrives on building strong client relationships while identifying and converting new business opportunities.

• Manage and grow a portfolio of high-profile existing accounts within the hospitality sector.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities across the London area.
• Deliver high-end food solutions from a purpose-built production kitchen and specialist warehouse.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Procurement, Marketing, Operations, Finance) to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Develop strategic plans to drive sales, enhance brand visibility, and meet growth targets.
• Conduct data-driven analysis to forecast demand and identify margin growth opportunities.
• Lead client meetings, present proposals, and follow up with actionable plans.

KPIs & Success Measures

• Sales, Gross Profit, and ADV vs Budget
• Customer Retention & Category Growth

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in foodservice or FMCG
• Strong relationship management and communication skills
• Commercially astute with a proactive, results-driven mindset
• Excellent organisational and IT skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Previous experience as a chef or in a culinary environment
