Role Overview

We’re looking for a commercially-minded, Italian-speakingBusiness Development Managerto help expand our footprint in the Italian solar market. In this hybrid role, you'll lead the charge in identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with utility-scale developers and EPCs, and closing bundled procurement deals. You will serve as a key interface between Sustainergy and the Italian market — offering real value to developers through our procurement advisory services and sourcing capabilities.

Responsabilities

• Identify and engage new business opportunities in the Italian solar market
• Build and maintain strong relationships with project developers, EPCs, and key decision-makers
• Support clients with early-stage procurement planning and BoM discussions
• Coordinate with the internal technical, logistics, and procurement teams to deliver tailored solutions
• Represent Sustainergy at events, calls, and in client meetings — in both Italian and English
• Meet and exceed sales targets, report on pipeline, and contribute to market strategy

Qualifications

• Fluency inItalian and English(spoken and written)
• 3+ years’ experience inbusiness development or sales— ideally in solar, construction, or B2B technical industries
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a distributed team
• Knowledge of therenewable energy or solar industryis highly desirable
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
