The Role: Remote Based - Covering London, Aylesbury, Ipswich, London North East, London North West, London South East, London South West, Worcester

As Business Development Manager for Waste Experts, your focus will be to engage with around 80 of our inhouse electrical wholesale branches where you will look to collaborate and identify successful total waste opportunities from their extensive customer base. This exciting and unique opportunity will require you to develop relationships with both the branch network and their customers across multiple sectors and apply your waste expertise to help drive revenue growth.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in successfully driving new business growth and will be responsible for generating new business via the ‘extensive’ electrical wholesale customer network. Ultimately managing the network of branches and their customers within your area. The versatile candidate will have the ability to close sales deals through multiple channels to spearhead business and sales growth. This is an extremely unique, exciting and prosperous career opportunity for the right candidate.

You will be remote based, covering London and surrounding areas with flexibility for UK wide travel and sometimes overnight stays needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation / Market Analysis: Having a great understanding of current market landscape to help identify opportunities within CEF existing customer base. Proactively engaging with branches to generate new business leads and sales opportunities.

Develop New Business Opportunities: Identify potential clients, partnerships, and market opportunities that align with the company’s strategic goals to ensure that monthly targets are achieved and exceeded.

Time Management: Full autonomy overmanaging and organising your own diary / calendar to ensure frequent flow of customer meetings.

Pipeline management: Utilise CRM system to track and report on sales activities, maintain accurate customer records to establish a steady pipeline to ensure constant flow of opportunities.Track and report on lead generation metrics, sales pipeline progress, and business development activities.

Build and Maintain Client Relationships: Establish and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with both CEF branches and their clients by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.

Proposal Development: Prepare and present business proposals, presentations, and sales pitches to potential clients.

Negotiation and Closing Deals: Lead negotiations and close business deals that deliver mutual value to both the company and clients.

Collaborate with wider sales team: Work closely with the wider sales team to ensure a consistent flow of qualified leads and support their efforts to close deals.
