Position Overview
Everyday Health Group (EHG), part of Ziff Davis, is a trusted communication platform for pregnant women, families, and healthcare professionals. Our division includes well-known brands like BabyCentre, What to Expect, and Emma’s Diary, and offers a free online learning resource for healthcare professionals.
The Opportunity
We seek a motivated Business Development Manager to join our global team based in the UK. Reporting to the Healthcare Director, you will drive new business revenues for our clinical studies recruitment division. This role is ideal for a strategic, results-driven individual with a strong understanding of digital media and the clinical landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify new business opportunities, clients, and partnerships.
- Increase revenues across platforms and grow existing business.
- Develop a robust sales pipeline through cold calling and relationship building.
- Engage with prospective clients within healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors.
- Research and establish relationships with new clients and decision-makers.
- Arrange meetings between clients and our practice leaders.
- Develop tailored proposals addressing client needs and objectives.
- Travel to prospects, clients, and industry events as needed.
- Coordinate internally to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of sales experience in Clinical Trials or Pharmaceutical industries.
- Preferably experience in medical education or patient recruitment campaigns.
- Proven ability to sell ideas, products, and services.
- Track record of creating new business relationships with agencies and clients.
- Knowledge of digital and data landscapes is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.

Location & Work Arrangement
- Office in Bourne End - 3 days/week
- Remote work - 2 days/week
