Your Role:
As our Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and driving sales growth. If you have a knack for using marketing channels to build real connections and are motivated by results, this role is perfect for you!
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Lead Generation: Identifying potential clients through using focused marketing channels, market research and targeted outreach activities
- Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and warm prospective clients via a variety of communication channels – phone, email, LinkedIn and social media
- Enabling Sales Conversion: Supporting the Regional Director to convert enquiries; develop strong prospects, communicate effectively and schedule meetings / follow ups where needed
- Event Management: Strategically planning, organising, executing and attending events that provide added value to build a sales pipeline and foster a community among clients
- Market Analysis: Analysing market trends and identifying opportunities for growth
- Collaboration and Innovation: Working closely with the Marketing team to align on strategies and campaigns, while using your own initiative to hunt for new clients
- Reporting: Monitoring and reporting on sales performance to measure success against targets
What We’re Looking For:
The ideal candidate will have a blend of ambition, determination, and a passion for business development. You should possess:
- Experience in Business Development: Previous experience in a similar business development, sales or lead nurturing role is desirable.
- Relationship-Building Abilities: Utilising your exceptional verbal and written communication skills to establish rapport and trust with potential clients.
- Tech savvy Sales & Marketing Skills: A strong understanding of sales processes and success in achieving targets, including use of technology & platforms (AI, LinkedIn, CRM etc)
- Persuasive & Consultative Selling: Ability to guide prospects toward booking an appointment through value-driven conversations.
- Accountability: Taking responsibility for actions, reflecting on experiences, celebrating successes, and consistently seeking opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Proactive and Resilient Approach: A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment who has the patience and tenacity to nurture leads over time.
- Time Management & Organisation: Ability to prioritise tasks, follow up efficiently, and manage multiple leads effectively.

What to expect during the recruitment process:
We're excited to invite shortlisted candidates to participate in a pre-recorded video interview. This will give you the flexibility to showcase your skills and experience in your own time. After reviewing your video, we’ll schedule a virtual chat with our Talent Team and ask you to complete an online behavioural assessment. Finally, we’ll conclude the process with an in-person meeting with our London Regional Director and a People Director. Our aim is to make this experience as smooth and informative as possible so you can see if our team is the right fit for you.
